Just checking in. The hot potatoes of the past two months include:

- It's autumn again. Do we love or do we hate? Weigh in by answering the poll lower down in the menubar and feel free to comment this newsitem.

- My tracking has been shit for a long time and it's only getting worse. Some crappy releases may be ahead.

- "Sorry I Make You Lush" by Wagon Christ is a mixed bag at best. Saddic Gladdic rules, but the rest are mostly bland.

- "Palookaville" by Fatboy Slim is actually quite good, save for "Put It Back Together" which really just makes you cringe. You should get the album, it's better than "Halfway between the gutter and stars". Two and a half thumbs up (sic)!

- Do you own "A Plump Night Out" by Plump DJs? If you don't, you're missing out. It's not a new album by any standards, but it just works oh so well. For even older and somewhat more underrated big beat, get "Loud" by Timo Maas.

- As for albums you ought to steer clear from, "Different Tastes of Honey" by Tosca would be a prime example. One or two good remixes just don't redeem the other 11 (plus an intro and outro). Sheesh.

Enjoy your weekend, I know I will. I'll be going to a cruise. Should be a blast! Until we meet again.
