I don't know if anyone noticed but the OGGscript was down for a while... Now it's back, but no longer fully dynamic. I have to generate its output manually whenever I buy new records. And speaking of buying new records, I just got a bunch of 'em yesterday, and let me tell you, I really struck gold on a couple of them.

Lemon Jelly - lemonjelly.ky

A compilation of three Lemon Jelly EPs on one disc full of love and massive beats. In my opinion the concept is similar to Wagon Christ's Tally Ho! with its melodic hooks, spine-tingling beats and rhythms and eccentric samples. Lemon Jelly is more conservative in their use of strange samples and is more harmony-driven amongst the beats. The progressions are a little more conventional. And let me tell you, I love this album. Unreservedly. Hearing music like this makes me love all of electronic music so much more.

As I'm writing this, I'm listening to "Lost Horizons" and am up to track four. So far I'm liking what I'm hearing very much, I may write up a more detailed account of this album later.
