The only PC role-playing game ever that was worth a damn, Fallout, will not be seeing a sequel. Usually I don't post about game news but this is just tragic. Interplay has fired all of the creative talent from Black Isle Studios who were about half way done with the production of Project Van Buren, also known as Fallout 3 - which was also promptly canceled. Now I'd like to take this opportunity as a webmaster to extend my sympathy to the former BIS employees and voice my opinion on this.
Fuck you, Interplay.
You can check out the excellent Van Buren coverage of No Mutants Allowed right up to this sad day for more background information. For what it's worth, Fallout 2 was - right along side with Star Control 2 - the only damn game I ever really loved. So much for that sequel then.
